First of all… let me introduce myself. My name is Wijbrand Houmes, but everybody calls me Wibi. I am a 32-year-old Dutchie from The Netherlands. I enjoy teaching beginners and intermediates about surfing and taking pictures and videos. Since 2018 I have been sharing my passion for surfing as an ISA-certified level 1 surf instructor.

I worked for different surf schools as an instructor and manager; in the Netherlands, New Zealand, France, and Spain. Part of the job was coaching the new surf instructors, creating content for social media and website, and general development. During my travels, I have been surf coaching, hosting a surf house, and even organizing my surf camp.
In April 2021, I did the ISA level 2 course to become a more advanced coach for intermediate surfers. I am educated in business, and I have a bachelor in sports management. I would love to do surf lessons, hosting a surf house, and develop your business together as a consultant, manager, or all-around employee.
My ideal job is a mix of fieldwork (surf coaching or hosting a surf house) and some office work; for example, developing the surf school, organizing events, and working on social media and websites.
