Go on a surftrip to level up your surfing!
Every time I went on a surf trip I discovered something new and unlocked a new level…. I have been surfing for 11 years, mainly in the Netherlands. But during the surf trips I made the most progress. Here is an overview of. My surf trips and what I learned during the trip.
- France, Mimizan my 1st surfcamp with ‘Surfline’ I learned how to peddle and stand up on whitewash and with luck some straigh handers in green waves.
- Portugal, Sagres surfcamp wit a school from the Netherlands had my 1st green waves down the line
- France, Bretange went on a trip with friends. Got better in reading waves making bigger drops and positioning for waves
- France, Bretange with friends, had my first bottom and top turn ever so stoked!
- France, Anglet big waves 3 meter getting my confidence level up, sice then big waves did not look so big any more.
- NZ; Raglan my first left hand pointbreak, I learned how to do my first duck dives, survived some hold downs and got used to short-boarding
- France, Anglet: broke my board šand was devastated, learned to take less risk
- Hossegor & Peniche: I learned to duckdive, tried big barrels, learned to be way more calm in the water and be picky about which wave to take also broke a board
- Spain: Unlocking so many skills, peddling positioning, proper bottom turn, body rotation, choosing waves, looking at waves and understanding the sections.
- I want to go to Portugal, Peniche again, learn from the pro’s; learn for the pro’s and teach beginner intermediate surfers some new tricks and have fun.
I will keep on going on surf trips! Please let me know if you want to join. I love to teach and share knowledge, waves and adventures with you.
